Black Saddle Retreat 2024
Black Saddle Photography hosted a beautiful retreat in May 2024. The purpose of the retreat is to educate photographers. The theme of this retreat was Taking Intentional Photos + Mastering Low Light Photography. All of the photographers did such a beautiful job!! If this doesn't give you major wedding inspo, we don't know what will. It was colourful, and anything but boring! The elopement theme and vision was "Luxury Muskoka" with a Country Chic vibe.
The property had so many great locations to pick for the ceremony. Once we saw the three apple trees were fully blooming, we knew that was the spot!
Everyone involved in this day was amazing.
Tickled Pink Brides helped coordinate the day. Sarah, the owner, also provided the ceremony set up {check out the macramé - it was perfection.} Not to mention the faux florals around the arch and the arch itself. The faux flowers are customizable and look SO real!! Sarah also provided the decor for the table scape dinner set up and set the table. The beautiful sparkle backdrop is also a rental item of theirs and we have to say, we have used it for so many events and it's perfect for all of them!
Jessy Beck Design did the wildly beautiful bouquet and the boutonnière. Jessy somehow manages to blow us away every time. Her arrangements are always so breathtaking. We always give Jessy colour ideas and trust her to do her thing. She never disappoints!
Cassandra Dawn Makeup worked her magic on the models. The makeup was right on theme and pulled together the looks. Plus, the looks lasted!! She was prepared, on time, quick, and detailed!! The makeup was flawless.
Wildflower Rentals provided the vintage couch and chairs. We have used these for multiple events now and they are always such a hit! They help pull the room together and everyone loves them. Check out their site for even more beautiful rental items {big and small!}.
Creations by Bree provided the LOVE light up sign that we used during the dinner. These were so nice, provided some extra ambiance, and would have also been perfect for outside.

Our gorgeous couple is Alyssa and Jordan. Although this wasn't a real wedding, they will be getting married at our venue! So this was a fun trial run :)
