Black Saddle Barn Wedding + Event Venue is located in Callander, ON. Callander is the perfect little town to have your event in. It is packed with charm and a lot of wedding vendors. It's just outside North Bay and Muskoka, and about 3.5 hours from Toronto. Trust us, it's worth the drive!! This is your all in one *perfect* venue. Black Saddle Barn is being referred to as the Luxury Venue in the North! The barn and property are elevated and polished. With the charm of the old, and the comforts of the modern, it's the perfect location for your wedding or event. The property is made up of a beautiful 100+ year old barn, a modern farmhouse, a heated pavilion, a washroom building, and stunning landscaping.


For weekend wedding rentals, whatever is on site, is included. When we are compared to wedding venues in Muskoka, we are a third of the cost, and you get three times more at our venue. Our goal is to try and provide as much as possible all for one cost - no extras or hidden fees.


Have a corporate event or retreat you want to host?? You found the perfect location. Black Saddle Barn offers a huge variety of backdrops to host your team building, yoga, photography, or corporate retreat.

A Family Business

our beautiful chaos

Sara and Evan are co-owners/husband + wife. They were married in 2015 and had three beautiful children (Cullen 9, Raegan 7, Aida 4). They bought their dream farm in 2017, which was named Black Saddle Farm. Callander is home to them and they are excited to have this venue in Callander now as well.

Sara is a wedding photography + coaching business. These are Black Saddle Photography and Black Saddle Retreat.

What is included in your wedding venue?

You’ll have full access to the barn, farmhouse, pavilion, washrooms, and the entire property plus tables, chairs, select décor, and all your essentials like electricity and WiFi.

How many guests can you accommodate?

We can host up to 200 guests, with flexible layouts to fit your vision.

Where are you located?

We’re in Callander, Ontario. Short drive from North Bay, about an hour from Muskoka and three hours from Toronto.

Do you offer weekend wedding packages?

Yes! Our weekend weddings run Friday to Sunday so you have time to set up, celebrate, and actually enjoy the experience.
